About Us

The Buckley Construction Group is a family owned dynamic group of construction services companies with head offices based at Kilmeedy Castle, Millstreet, Co. Cork.

The group’s activities cover a range of services across the construction market.

Initially founded by John Buckley in 1994 the company quickly grew to be the largest, most dynamic specialist masonry, joinery and insulation sub-contractor in Cork and synonymous with many prestigious construction projects as main sub-contractors. Main contracting, Civil Engineering, House building, Extensions, Grant work, Specialist Fire stopping and SEAI Insulation works have been the key elements of progression over the last decade.

John Buckley

Managing Director / Contracts Director

John is the founding director of the Buckley Construction Group and has been intrinsically involved in building the business into the successful, quality service provider that it is today.  John is a leading figure in the construction industry in Cork and widely recognised for his experience. He is the driving force behind all construction operations undertaken by the Group and is committed to helping clients achieve a competitive advantage through a flexible and innovative approach.

Brian McCarthy B.Eng.

Contracts Manager

Brian has 18 years of Design and Build experience in main Contracting and has a proven track record in delivering high profile projects for a wide selection of clients across all sectors. He possess detailed knowledge and in depth understanding of Design & Construction, including modern specialist building services and has a clear understanding of clients requirements. He has been a market leader in delivering large scale developments from concept stage right through to project realisation and is noted for his ability to relate well to Clients and his problem solving skills.

Aine Collins

Business development Manager

Aine is a chartered accountant with over 20years international business and public representative experience. She is responsible for overseeing the delivery of the strategic planning & growth of the Buckley group of companies. Her involvement in the business strategy has brought a measured perspective to the growth and direction of the Group over the last number of years by ensuring that the high quality principle of the Buckley brand is maintained throughout the organisation.

Fiona Keller

Office manager

Fiona is responsible for all financial matters relating to the Buckley Construction group. She ensures that the company operates and maintains highly disciplined financial systems throughout its operations and is responsible for financial reporting, monitoring and modelling of all development projects as well as preparing the management, financial and consolidated accounts and cash flow.
